Miguelitos Instant Pandesal Premix or pan de sal (filipino and spanish for "salt bread")

$577

Miguelitos Ube Pandesal Premix 470g

  • Is a common bread roll in the Philippines.

STORAGE CONDITION:

Store in a cool dry place (15°C-30°C) away from direct sunlight, high temperature, moisture, foreign odor and other contaminants.

PROCEDURE:

 In a large mixing bowl, place the Miguelitos Instant Pandesal Mix, then add ¾ cup of water and 2 tablespoon of margarine.

 Mix well until a dough is formed. Use your clean hands to effectively mix the ingredients.

 In a flat surface, knead the dough until the texture becomes fine. For faster and easier kneading, you may use a Stand Mixer with dough hook.

 Mold the dough until the shape becomes round. Divide it into 2 equal parts using a dough slicer and roll each part until it forms a cylindrical shape.

 Slice the cylindrical dough diagonally (these slices will be the individual pieces of the Pandesal).

 Roll the sliced dough over the powdered breadcrumbs and place in a greased baking tray. Make sure to provide gaps between dough as this will rise later on.

 Set aside the sliced dough and let the dough rise for atleast 2 hours or until doubled in size.

 Preheat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius and bake the raised dough for 15 minutes.

 Turn off the oven and remove the freshly baked Pandesal.

 Cool down for 30 minutes and serve. Share and enjoy!
